One million jobs in small and medium-sized firms
17:57 BELGRADE, July 9 (Tanjug) - The development of small and medium-sized firms is of great importance for the country's successful transition and its strategic goal is to have one million jobs in this area, Serbian Minister of Economy and Privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Wednesday.
The strategy for the development of this area envisages that the number of such firms be increased from 270,000 to 400,000 by the year 2008, which would lead to the opening of new jobs, Vlahovic said.
