Report on work of Serbian govt commission for sugar control
19:43 BELGRADE, July 4, 2003 (Tanjug) - The Serbian government commission for monitoring the production and sales of sugar so far only has reliable evidence that Interfrigo of Cacak illegally exported sugar, while all other investigations are still under way, and good cooperation has been established with colleagues from Montenegro, Serbian Foreign Trade Minister Goran Pitic said on Friday.
Pitic told a press conference at the Serbian government that there was grounds to suspect that 30,000 tons of sugar were illegally sold via the Adriatik company of Budva and that Interfrigo re-exported 297 tons of sugar imported from Poland.
