Ceda Jovanovic announces correction of government decree
11:39 PODGORICA, July 3 (Tanjug) - Montenegrin Agriculture Minister Milutin Simovic said on Thursday that a recent decree of the Serbian government on a stricter regime of the delivery of wheat to Montenegrin buyers should not result in higher prices of bread and other products.
"I see no reason for a rise in prices, because we have enough mill capacities in Montenegro to meet the needs of the market, and the price of wheat in Hungary is by 20 percent lower than it is in Serbia," Simovic said, but pointed to the fact that there were difficulties in transporting wheat via Serbia "because of payment of certain fees."
