Law on National Bank of Serbia in September, NBS governor
17:57 BELGRADE , July 2 (Tanjug) - National Bank of Serbia and the Serbian Ministry of Finances started on June 24 preparations for working out a new law on the National Bank of Serbia, which should be proposed to Serbian parliament in September, but for the time being there isn't a good proposal for the document, said on Wednesday National Bank of Serbia governor Mladjan Dinkic.
Dinkic explained at a news conference that at the moment with the Ministry of Finances are being discussed theoretical concepts of the National Bank fo Serbia, pointing out that the central bank must be an independent institution.
