EPS writes off 1.4 billion dinar debt to mines
20:08 BELGRADE , July 2 (Tanjug) - The electric power company of Serbia EPS Board of Managers decided at the latest session to write off the entire debt of the mines, worth 1.4 billion dinars, Board of Managers President Nikola Rajakovic said on Wednesday.
Rajakovic told reporters the EPS had taken on the obligation to purchase coal from these mines in the next three years, allowing the underground exploitation to adapt to market conditions during that time.
