State majority owner of Jagodinska Pivara brewery
June 30 (IIS, Politika) - Serbian Government converted debt of Jagodina based brewery Jagodinska Pivara for taxes and excises in state’s stake. State became the owner of 52% of brewery’s stock. Other 48% is in possession of 1,538 shareholders of Jagodinska Pivara.
Brewery’s director Zorica Jevremovic expects that now, when the proprietor’s structure is clear, stronger interest of potential buyers could be expected. So far, companies from
Greece, Bulgaria, Italia, Germany and Slovenia have showed interest to buy Jagodinska Pivara.
