Belgrade drops SARS control at airports
14:51 BELGRADE, June 27 (Beta) - Monitoring procedures for SARS for passengers entering Serbia-Montenegro from Beijing have been abolished, with no case reported in the region in more than three weeks. The Serbian Health Institute said today that monitoring stopped on June 24 at the recommendation of the World Health
Organization. According to that organization, monitoring is only needed for passengers from Toronto and Taiwan. No cases of SARS have been reported in Serbia.
