Belgrade-New York flights to be restored in October
Belgrade, June 27, 2003 (Government) - Serbian Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Marija Raseta-Vukosavljevic said on Friday that Belgrade-New York flights will be restored in mid-October, the Tanjug news agency reported.
The US authorities "gave the green light" on June 19 for resuming flights between the US and Serbia, said Raseta-Vukosavljevic. Uzbekistan Airways, which has established good cooperation with Serbian flag carrier JAT Airways, will operate flights on the Belgrade-New York twice a week with its Boeing 767 planes.
