Obrenovac thermo-electric power stations prepare 3rd phase of strike
17:35 OBRENOVAC , June 24 (Tanjug) - In the Obrenovac thermo-electric power stations extensive preparations are underway for the 3rd phase of the general strike, TENT Trade Union president Slavoljub Culum told Tanjug.
The timing of that phase depends on a decision of the central strikers board that is in constant negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Energy, he added. According to Culum, the third phase of the strike would mean cutting down production by one third. That means that in the Obrenovac thermo-electric power stations, instead of the projected 2,600 megawatts, would be produced about 900 megawatts less. Culum underlined that the second phase of the strike was being conducted successfully, not only in the thermo-electric power stations Nikola Tesla in Obrenovac but also in the thermo-electric power stations Kolubara and Morava.
