Strike in EPS continues
Belgrade, June 23 (Blic) - Unions of Kostolac Mine and Kostoloac Power Plant started the second phase of the strike. It means interruption of production of coal in two pits.
'The dialog with the competent authorities is necessary. If the Ministry of Energy is incapable to negotiate the Government should send other negotiators instead of Minister Kori Udovicki', one trade union official said.
The unions request from the Government that the Law on Energy defines existence of enterprises for production of energy coal, They also request that pits, power plant and services in Kostolac are all united in one. Finally they request equal labor rate in all pits of EPS /Elektroprivreda Srbije/.
