EPS’s strike is entering the second phase
June 20 (IIS, Danas, Tanjug) - Chief of the Union of Serbian electric production and distribution company EPS Milan Kovacevic announced that strike would soon enter the second phase which means 50% reducing of coal excavation and delivery, also as total suspension of payment collection, repairs and works with customers. Complete stop of operations is not excluded.
Workers in 9 underground coal mines continue strike. Some 5,000 employees in mines: Rembas, Vrska Cuka, Ibarski Rudnici, Bogovina, Soko, Lubnica, Jasenovac, Stavalj and Alkeksinacki Rudnici are in strike.
