Whether we take the money or not, World Bank calculates interest - Jelasic
12:00 BELGRADE , June 18 (Tanjug) - Unless we ratify by June 22 the agreement with the World Bank on interest-free loan worth 80 million dollars for the social sector, the Bank will, "whether we take the money or not, start calculating the 0.5 percent interest as of that date," Serbian National Bank Vice-Governor Radovan Jelasic said on Tuesday.
Jelasic said in a live broadcast by TV Studio B that the World Bank (WB) approved the loan to Serbia-Montenegro on April 22, and that "all normal countries usually draw this money in a week or two, and that we have failed to do it even after six weeks".
