Seminar opens on development programmes in southern Serbia
18:10 LESKOVAC , June 16 (Tanjug) - Serbia-Montenegro Minister of Human and Minority Rights Rasim Ljajic said in Leskovac on Monday that inter-ethnic tensions in the country and southern Serbia were reducing and that this created a better climate for the implementation of development projects and foreign creditors' safety in investing capital in this area.
At the beginning of a two-day seminar on development programmes in southern Serbia, Ljajic said that ethnic and other misunderstandings should be overcome at a speedier pace, conflict situations should be resolved more efficiently and conditions should be created for the return of all IDPs, as a condition for integration in democratic processes and development.
