Deputy Minister: Draft law does not envisage privatization, but does not rule it out
16:36 BELGRADE , June 15 (Tanjug) - Serbian Deputy Minister of Mining and Power Slobodan Ruzic has said in a statement for Tanjug that the draft law on power does not specify the issue of future ownership over power facilities, but provides possibilities for the state to retain its present ownership if it so wishes.
"All of the power facilities currently owned by the state can remain so after the law is passed," Ruzic said. The draft law does not envisage the privatization of existing power companies, but it does not prevent it, either, he said.
