Vast majority of citizens for Serbia and Montenegro's joining EU
June 12 (Blic) - Belgrade center for marketing research 'Marten Board International', licensed partner of 'British Market Research Bureau' of London conducted in cooperation with 'Blic' daily public opinion poll in the period May 27 - June 6 to investigate the stance of Serbia's citizens towards Serbia and Montenegro's joining European Union.
According to that research, the vast majority of Serbian citizens /86.2 per cent/ without Kosovo and Metohija supports our state union's joining EU. Only 7.7 per cent were against.
Also vast majority of Serbian citizens /80.8 per cent/ supports our joining the Partnership for Peace, while 13.4 per cent were against.
In case of joining NATO, 48.6 per cent of our citizens are against, while 42.9 are for.
More than half of Serbian citizens /59.9 per cent/ supports putting of SCG Army under civil control.
