NBS Governor: Implementation of harmonized Customs rates to be postponed
Krusevac, June 12 (Blic) - Mladjan Dinkic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia suggested to businessmen to thoroughly
analyzed all items in the proposed Customs tariff and to try until August 15 to preserve some of the vital interests of Serbian economy. Namely, while Customs rates for products from Serbia are being decreased for one third, the Customs protection for products from Montenegro has been increased for several times.
Mladjan Dinkic illustrated his claim with numerous examples.
'Some things can be corrected. One of the solutions is, for example that decrease of Customs rates for products of vital interest for Serbia is postponed for 24 months', Dinkic said.
