Year of protests and struggle for workers' rights
16:23 BELGRADE , June 12 (Tanjug) - The protest committee of the Alliance of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia and Montenegro (SSS SCG) Thursday declared the rest of 2003 as "the year of protests and the struggle for workers' rights in the state union of Serbia and Montenegro".
Unless the Council of Ministers of the state union and the governments of the member states fulfill all the demands of the Protest Committee, this body will grow into a strike committee and will organize a general strike in Serbia-Montenegro, SSS SCG President Budimir Siljivancanin told a press conference.
