Price of wheat
June 11 (IIS, Dnevnik) - Price on wheat market reaches 11 dinars (€0.169) /kg.
State agency Robne Rezerve intends to buy 300,000 tons from farmer’s for state reserves. Robne Rserve offers 7.8 dinars (€0.12) /kg, but farmers and agricultural companies require between 9.8 and 11 dinars (€0.151 - €0.169) /kg.
Realistic forecasts tell that this year wheat harvest would reach 1.4 million tons, 400,000 tons less than domestic needs and near 1 million tons less than previous year.
Wheat prices could temporary drop in July and in the beginning of August because of great offer.
