Will glass factory Srpska Fabrika Stakla Paracin break?
June 11 (IIS, Vecernje Novosti) - Because of predominant plastic packaging for juices, mineral water and recently even beer, Paracin-based Srpska Fabrika Stakla already had turned off 4 of 5 machines for beer bottles production. The fifth machine could be turned off too; also the stove for colored bottles will stop working.
There is 5.5 million beer bottles on the stock.
Big imports of bottles for beer, mineral water and other beverages are an additional problem for SFS.
Srpska Fabrika Stakla currently survives thanks to export merchant glass business, worth €750,000 per month.
