All genetically modified soy will be destroyed
June 11 (IIS, Politika) - Based on order from Vojvodina Government and its Secretary for Agriculture all genetically modified soy will be destroyed and growers will be punished.
According to Serbian law growing of genetically modified soy is a criminal act.
Last year GMS was destroyed on 20 hectares. It is estimated that this year GMS sowing reaches 100 hectares.
Some Scandinavian partners are interested in Vojvodina’s soy without any genetic modification.
