Dinkic: My dismissal hidden behind rapid passing of law on NBS
June 10 (Blic) - 'I have not seen the proposal of new law on the National Bank of Serbia nor have I been acquainted with its content', Mladjan Dinkic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia /NBS/ said for 'Blic' daily.
'Anyway it is not possible to make good law on NBS without participation of experts from NBS in making of that law. Making of law in that manner would only disclose bad intentions of those preparing such law in secrecy', Dinkic said.
'If somebody thinks that I have not worked well, that somebody should say so. There is no need for farce in making a law only intended for my dismissal. My recall is not important for me because I have not been born in Governor's chair. If I should be dismissed, some explanation would have to be given to the citizens', Dinkic said.
