IMF requested that power supply price increase be cut in half
19:09 BELGRADE , June 7 (Tanjug) - In the letter representatives of the Serbian government have sent to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which regards the correction of envisaged power supply price increase, it has been requested that instead by 20, the price be increased by 10 percent, Tanjug has learned at the republic government.
According to the previously envisaged dynamics of reaching the economic power supply price in Serbia, a 20 percent price increase was envisaged for this year. However, in their letter to the IMF, Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic and Mining and Energy Minister Kori Udovicki requested that that percentage be 10, i.e. 15 at the most, the Tanjug's source said.
