Serbia heavily in debt
10:52 BELGRADE , June 6 (Tanjug) - Serbia will be a country heavily in debt, even if it ensures the same debt-repayment conditions it had with the Paris Club, with the London Club trustees, Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic has said.
Serbia has to use the following period, during which the interest capitalization, approved by the Paris Club of trustees, will be carried out, for encouraging its economy activities,
particularly export, so that in 2006 and 2009, when the repayment of a major amount of debt and interest is expected, it would be able to
service its obligations towards the trustees, Djelic told the Belgrade Studio B TV late on Thursday.
