Project presented for labour inspectorate training, integration
19:25 BELGRADE , June 5 (Tanjug) - Serbian Minister of Labour and Employment Dragan Milovanovic and US Ambassador in Belgrade William Montgomery on Thursday presented a 500,000-dollar project for the training of 500 republican inspectors and labour inspectorate integration.
Observing the idea of the late Serbian premier Zoran Djindjic aimed at reducing the number of injuries and deaths among Serbian workers and in keeping with the announced law on employment, the US Labour Department's international labour affairs office will in the next three years finance and as of this autumn start training republican labour inspectors and setting up a Centre for Security and Protection at Work, it was said at a news conference.
