World Bank waiting for federal ratification of loan
18:53 BELGRADE, June 4 (Beta) - The World Bank’s Belgrade representative, Rory O’Sullivan, announced today that the bank will proceed with another of eighty million dollars in loans by June 10 only if the federal parliament ratifies the agreement.
If approved, the loan will bring the total for the fiscal year to 397 million of 540 million earmarked for Belgrade.
The remainder of the loans, which are intended for direct budget support and privatisation of the banking sector, will be approved in late July.
