Gaso Knezevic: Labus late with idea of independence
June 02 (Blic) - Serbian Minister of Education Gaso Knezevic said that Miroljub Labus, president of G17 Plus should have spoken about the idea of independence of Serbia before signing of Belgrade Agreement and constituting of state union of Serbia and Montenegro.
'I agree that there is something rational in G17 Plus program and DHSS campaign for independence of Serbia and that some things would develop more rapidly if there were no union. However, we have been admitted to the Council of Europe. If now while competition is still going on we would insist on change of the rules of game, how would that be understood in Europe?', Minister Knezevic said to BK Television.
