Nurses leaving the country because of small salary and difficult job
Serbia, May 28 (Blic) - Large number of our nurses left the country in recent years and they are now working in Germany, Switzerland, Italy or Great Britain. This is mainly because of small salaries and difficult job.
At the same time the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade is in permanent need of nurses but the applications for job are almost none. Does this mean that after 'export' we shall be forced to 'import' nurses?
One research conducted by World Health Organization showed that in almost 70 per cent of the developing countries covered by the research, there is lack of medical nurses.
