To prevent import of genetic modified food – requires DSS
May 26 (IIS, Politika) - DSS Government in the shadow (opposition party lead by Vojislav Kostunica) requires strict control of the trafficking of genetic modified food and the prohibition of its import.
There is a Law on the federal level which bans import of genetic modified food but such food has been imported at Serbia, in spite of the EU rules and domestic ordinances.
