New law on pharmaceutical sector soon, Milosavljevic
14:35 BELGRADE , May 26 (Tanjug) - The pharmaceutical sector is is urgent need of a new law, which would regulate the rules of the game for the manufacturers and the distributors, so that citizens when they get their prescription drug can be certain of its quality, said on Monday Serbian Health Minister Tomica Milosavljevic, opening the second Balkan Pharmaceutical Conference.
He announced that the new law on medicines will have many novelties, and that it will regulate the work of the Agency for Medicines in Serbia and Montenegro due to start work after the passage of the law.
