Worker’s protests in Valjevo amplify
May 21 (IIS, Politika) - Several thousand workers of Srbijanka food and beverages factory protest for nine days, occasionally blocking the Valjevo–Belgrade road and Belgrade – Bar railroad.
Eight hundred workers of furniture and package firm Stefil located in Valjevo also started with protest’s activities. Stefil hasn’t worked during the last six months. Employee’s demands acceleration of privatization procedure because there is a buyer from Switzerland interested to purchase the company.
