Micunovic rises issue of ratification of agreement with Russia
17:15 BELGRADE, May 21 (Tanjug) - During a visit to Russia, Serbia-Montenegro parliament Speaker Dragoljub Micunovic rised in the parliament's lower house (Duma) the issue of the speedy ratification of the Free Trade Agreement with Russia, signed almost two years ago, as well as the need to reduce the range of goods outside this regime, reaching almost 20 percent.
Micunovic, who returned from Russia on Wednesday, underscored the need for lowering the Serbia-Montenegro foreign trade deficit with Russia, whose exports to Serbia-Montenegro are nine-fold its imports. Of the 850 million dollars of the 2002 foreign trade, Serbia-Montenegro participated with less then 90 million dollars. Micunovic received assurances in the Duma that the resolution of all issues opened up during his visit would be
speeded up, the Serbia-Montenegro parliament press service announced.
