Smiljanic announces protests, call for early elections
19:07 NOVI SAD , May 21 (Tanjug) - President of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia Milenko Smiljanic said in Novi Sad on Wednesday that the association would
organize major protests in towns throughout Serbia on June 15 and most likely demand the calling of early parliamentary elections in the republic.
Saying that the Serbian government was insensitive to workers' problems, he told a news conference at the Novi Sad Fiar that the trade union would not give up the protests.
