National worker consortium to be set up
20:21 BELGRADE , May 20 (Tanjug) - The Council of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia has decided to set up a national worker consortium, which should prevent the use of suspicious capital for the purchase of domestic enterprises, Trade Union President Milenko Smiljanic said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a news conference, he said he expected that about 100,000 people would join the consortium and invest between 100 and 1,000 euros for a six-year period, which meant that the consortium's capital would amount to between 50 and 100 million euros.
