Djelic confirms Vesti rumor
15:34 BELGRADE, May 16 (Beta) - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic this afternoon confirmed that the cabinet has prepared the draft law governing the National Bank, which does not permit the appointment of party members to the position of governor and requires ten years banking experience.
Speaking at a press conference, Djelic denied the law was about to be tabled in the parliament for urgent ratification, but confirmed that the Finance Ministry and experts of the Serbian National Bank would discuss the bill.
Minister Djelic stressed that none of the proposed solutions were final.
