Serbia's reserves 3.3 billion, savings exceed one billion dollars
14:20 BELGRADE , May 13 (Tanjug) - Serbia's foreign currency reserves have reached 3.3 billion dollars, of what 2.5 billion are the reserves of the National Bank of Serbia, and about 800 million are the
reserves of banks, while bank savings for the first time after ten years have exceeded one billion dollars, said on Tuesday National Bank of Serbia governor Mladjan Dinkic.
Reminding that 2.5 years ago the foreign currency reserves of the National Bank of Serbia were about 365 million dollars, Dinkic specified at a press conference that in the past month and a half the reserves of the National Bank of Serbia rose about 400 million dollars, where the 180 million increase was the result of the foreign currency trade on the foreign currency market between banks.
