Germany will donate 39.6 million euros to Serbia during 2003
19:32 BELGRADE , May 13 (Beta) - Germany is to donate a total of 39.6 million euros to Serbia during 2003, International Economic Relations Minister Goran Pitic said today.
Pitic told media after signing an agreement today with Germany’s deputy economic relations minister, that the writing off of 25 million euros worth of debt was also valuable financial assistance.
The bulk of the funding is to be used for financial assistance projects while 6.6 million has been earmarked for technical cooperation.
The German Ministry for Economic Relations and Development has approved a total of two hundred million euros to Serbia over the past three years. The greater part of this has been donations.
