Harmonization negotiations resume
13:47 PODGORICA, May 12 (SRNA) - Harmonization negotiations have today resumed between the expert delegations of the Serbian and Montenegrin governments.
Following the full harmonization of customs tariffs in the industrial fields of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, leather ware, footwear and glass, only 20 per cent of customs taxes remain to be
harmonized.
Negotiators have also agreed on the gradual adoption of EU and World Trade
Organization standards and that existing customs tariffs will remain applicable until these standards have been fully achieved.
