Chinese immigrants do not have SARS
BELGRADE, May 12 (Govt) - Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic said on Monday that the Chinese citizen who has been under medical surveillance in Belgrade since Sunday does not have atypical pneumonia, known as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), and that he is feeling well.
Belgrade police detained on Sunday ten Chinese citizens who had illegally crossed the Romanian border in an attempt to enter Italy via Croatia. According to Milosavljevic, they were all handed over to Belgrade's Institute for Infectious and Tropical Diseases and will remain under medical surveillance for the next ten days.
