Montenegrin businessman gunned down in Stockholm
STOCKHOLM – Podgorica businessman Ratko Djokic (55) was shot dead by two unknown gunmen in front of a shopping centre in Stockholm yesterday.
Djokic has long been rumored to be connected with the tobacco mafia and illicit drug dealing.
His name emerged in public after the Zagreb daily Nacional published a series on tobacco smuggling in the Balkans.
The articles also named a number of senior Montenegrin officials.
