Possibility of quarantine in Serbia because of SARS
Belgrade - 'Competent health services in Serbia will open quarantines if SARS appears in Serbia', the chairman of Government's expert group for fight against SARS, Predrag Kon said yesterday.
As a precautionary measure in larger cities in Serbia there will be opened 'isolators' for persons suspected to be affected by SARS, while quarantines will be opened only in case that SARS really appears in Serbia. Quarantines will be opened in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Kragujevac.
'SARS cases are registered in Romania, Bulgaria and Italy and we have to be prepared in case of need', Kon said.
