Serbian employment on the up
BELGRADE – Serbian Labour and Employment Minister Dragan Milovanovic today confirmed that more than 150,000 people have found employment in Serbia in the first quarter of 2003.
Milovanovic estimated that, should this trend continue, at least 600,000 people will find work in Serbia by the end of the year.
He noted that less than half a million people secured new work in Serbia last year and expressed hope that this year would see a marked improvement.
