Perpetrators should be punished severely if there was abuse, Kurjacki
BELGRADE - Provincial Secretary for agriculture Igor Kurjacki has assessed that Vojvodina's agriculture will suffer great consequences if the European Union (EU) does not lift the suspension of our sugar exports within the next three months.
"We have been informed by the republican government that about 95 percent of the documentation on sugar exports has been reviewed so far and that no irregularities were found. If nothing suspicious is detected in the remaining five percent of the documents, we should demand an apology from the EU. If the opposite proves to be the case, the perpetrators of this misuse should be punished severely," said Kurjacki in a statement published by Politika on Monday.
