Ljubljanska Banka to buy Montenegro Banka
PODGORICA - The tender commission of the Montenegrin government's Privatisation Council on Tuesday adopted a report of a committee in charge of supervising the privatisation of Montenegro Banka Podgorica, accepting the offer of Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) for the purchase of 91.5 percent of Montenegro Banka stocks.
The buyer has the obligation immediately to pay 8 million euros of the total purchase sum of 11.1 million euros. The remaining 3.1 million euros should be paid into a special account, from which funds would be released parallel with the unblocking of Montenegro Banka's deposits abroad.
