BPI – Belgrade baker industry - will be privatized by the end of June
BPI (Belgrade baker industry) will be privatized through the tender privatization process by the end of June.
BPI is one of the largest Balkans bakeries. BPI has ten factory sections and produces 120 tons of different sorts of bread. Bread is produced at five factory sections on 14 automatic lines. The remaining five factory sections are intended for other types of baked goods. During last year BPI purchased ten vacuum machines, ten devices for dough modeling, three automatic tunnel stoves with capacities from 1,000 to 1,300 loaves of bread per hour. A new automatic compartment for dough fermentation was installed. During the last two years the BPI invested €5 million in modern equipment to increase it's operational capacities.
