Dafina Milanovic interrogated
BELGRADE – The Belgrade District Court yesterday completed its examination of Dafina Milanovic, owner of the collapsed Dafiment Bank.
The head of the court’s investigations department, Branislav Todic, said that Milanovic would be questioned again if necessary, together with people named by her.
Milanovic’s daughter and son-in-law are also to be questioned.
“The information revealed during the interrogation cannot be published because of the confidentiality of the investigation,” he said.
Hundreds of thousands of Serbs lost their life savings when Milanovic’s pyramid savings scheme collapsed in the early 1990s.
She was extradited last week from Germany where she had been arrested on an Interpol warrant last year.
