Law was not observed during Putnik's sale - Team Net
BELGRADE - The law was not observed during the tender privatisation of the social enterprise Punik and one of the potential buyers, the Greek consortium Team Net, was brought into an unequal position, consortium's lawyers said on Friday.
Due to technical problems and objective circumstances, i.e. imposition of the state of emergency after the assassination of Serbian premier Zoran Djindjic, the consortium did not submit to the Privatisation Agency a guarantee for the payment of the 50,000-dollar deposit in time, but the amount was paid later, lawyer Drago Vukovic explained.
