Serbian minister on delegation's visit to United States
BELGRADE - A Serbian government delegation visited the United States primarily to attend the spring session of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) as well as to hold negotiations aimed at securing new tranches of loans for structural adjustment and support to the financial and private sectors, Serbian Minister of Economy and Privatisation Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Friday.
Speaking only about the activities of the Serbian part of the delegation, which also included Serbia-Montenegro International Economic Relations Minister Branko Lukovac and Montenegrin Finance Minister Miroslav Ivanisevic, Vlahovic told a news conference at the Serbian government that the visit was also aimed at holding meetings with officials of the US Administration, Exim Bank and foreign investors.
