World Bank to credit project on process of privatization in S-M
Belgrade, 17 April: Serbia-Montenegro Foreign Economic Relations Minister Branko Lukovac and a World Bank representative, Rory O' Sullivan, today signed an agreement on crediting the project of privatization and technical aid to companies, as well as [that of the] reconstruction of banks, which is worth 11m dollars.
According to Lukovac, this amount is part of an overall amount of 540m dollars which the World Bank will invest into Serbia-Montenegro by 2004 under
favorable IDA conditions...
He added that the World Bank had also provided additional expert help for the realization of this programme, and expressed his hope that "the implementation of these projects will be a basis for future successful development of Serbia-Montenegro"...
