First quarter inflation in Serbia 1,8 percent - G17 Institute
BELGRADE - In the first quarter this year the inflation was 1,8 percent, which is encouraging and if this trend continues in the coming months, the overall price hike by the end of the year will be 7,4 percent, G17 Institute Executive Director Milko Stimac said on Wednesday.
Presenting the latest issue of the G17 Bulletin, Stimac said that the inflation was mainly caused by the rising service prices which rose three-and-a-half times faster than goods prices.
