O'Sullivan meets with Cacak businessmen
CACAK - World Bank mission chief in Serbia and Montenegro Rory O'Sullivan, in a meeting on Wednesday with Cacak businessmen, in central Serbia, pointed out that the financial assistance of that banking institution is intended first and foremost for the process of privatization, reforms of the banking system and support to the export progamme through the import of equipment for export products and banking guarantees for export.
O'Sullivan reminded that the World Bank has been since 2000 actively engaged in the recovery of the Serbian economy and that it has earmarked 570 million dollars to that end, of what 30 dollars in the form of a grant, while 540 million dollars are in "soft loans."
